So, ideally, you have been reading forums relevant to your market and you’ve gone through your product, keeping notes in bullet form.
What’s left? Well, one thing I ignored when I was starting out on my own fitness business, was LIST research. Specifically, talking with people on my email list and figuring out what they were interested in buying.
Let’s say that you have created a weight loss infoproduct. You can then ask your list, what were the last 3 weight loss products they purchased.
You then look at the sales letters of those products and you can discover what type of copy they responded to. You can even get ideas about bonuses that will make your infoproduct more appealing to them. And who knows, you might notice a claim or benefit that you know it’s BS and you can then use it to your advantage (in your sales letter or your emails)
Let’s recap. So far we have market research, product research and list research. Of course the suggestions don’t even begin to scratch the surface of what’s possible. But they are a step in the right direction, especially if you want a few quick ideas.
